Who I Am
I'm Kalhara Wimukthi, a Software Engineer, AI/ML Engineer, and Desktop Application Developer based in Sri Lanka. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science — Second Class Upper Division (GPA: 3.39) — from NSBM Green University.
My professional experience includes building and optimizing real-time face recognition systems at Onimta Information Technology, where I built high-accuracy facial detection and recognition systems using TensorFlow, OpenCV, and MTCNN.
I'm passionate about bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical, user-friendly applications. Whether it's an intelligent mobile app, a computer-vision tool, or a cross-platform Flutter solution, I bring precision, clean architecture, and strong design sensibility to every project.
I also create technical educational content on YouTube and am always exploring new areas in machine learning and software development.
